MY LOST DREAMS

Every time I fail I could see
my dreams dying in front of my eyes
evaporating into this thin air
leaving my mould fragmented
and my soul shattered
punching me into loneliness
this loneliness caught me though had a sea of people around
I could feel everything getting pulled
pulled into this pitch black hole
I crumbled and sat staring at my wall
realising am petrified
wanted to run away
yet I get stuck with this reality
rushing the same routine
forgetting what I was searching for
natheless I get lost in this maze
where chaos filled the air I breathe
choking my lungs
I struggle for the map
but couldn’t find one
I sat and stared
stared at those little white flowers happily smiling at me
I ignored them
yet my unstable mind got evoked
making me stare at them again
I felt my heaviness lighten
I felt the air against me mending my fragments
I felt a little stronger than before
felt the faith I once lost finding it’s way back to me
I got up stood there looked up and saw this vast sky above me
smiling down at me
Assuring my dead dreams went to heaven

Try, Try again

‘T is a lesson you should heed,
Try, try again;
If at first you don’t succeed,
Try, try again;
Then your courage should appear,
For, if you will persevere,
You will conquer, never fear;
Try, try again.
Once or twice though you should fail,
Try, try again;
If you would at last prevail,
Try, try again;
If we strive, ’tis no disgrace
Though we do not win the race;
What should you do in the case?
Try, try again.
